The Eriskay Pony is a protected native breed of significant cultural and environmental importance to the Isle of Eriskay. All media types, including promotional, for a commercial gain using The Eriskay Pony - including but not limited to photography, videography, advertising, editorial, publishing, merchandise, and branding - must have written consent from the The Eriskay Pony Society - Comann Each nan Eilean.
Any approved use must adhere to the society standards that prioritise the welfare of the animals and the integrity of the breed as documented below. All donations derived from such use shall contribute directly to conservation, education, and sustainable breeding initiatives aimed at safeguarding the future of the Eriskay Pony in its native habitat.
Donations from all media & commercial use
If you’re using images, videos, or representations of Eriskay Ponies in any form of commercial gain, for example, merchandise, prints, digital downloads, books, publications, editorial or other promotional materials, we kindly ask that you consider making a voluntary donation to the Society. These ponies are either owned by or registered with the Society, and your support helps us continue our vital work in protecting this rare and culturally significant native breed.
